This past holiday had definitely been relaxing and rejuvenating for me. I enjoy working hard for some time and then having a day or two to just relax and rejuvenate. Generally after having those one or two days to recharge my batteries I am ready to come back to work full throttle. So, here I am, back to work writing a blog post for the company blog. My family celebrates Christmas and we went over to my brother in law’s house and the rest of the family was there. It was great to see the rest of the family, eat some awesome food and watch the children of my relatives open Christmas presents. I even got a Christmas present myself, so I was happy!
My brother in law got me a board game entitled “Arkham Horror” for my Christmas present. I was extremely happy to get it. Generally, I will play with folks in my family “Betrayal at House on the Hill 2nd Edition” which is a great haunted house game as well as “Mansions of Madness” and it’s various game expansions and we have great fun playing both games and both games are fun and different from each other and well worth the purchase.
I like to play “Betrayal At House on the Hill 2nd Edition” because their is not as many playing pieces, the game rules are simply, easy to understand and it’s quick to learn them. Each time you play, the game is different and strategy is very in depth. “Mansions of Madness” is much different from “Betrayal at House On the Hill 2nd Edition” and is fun as well and offers other dimensions of play that is not offered by “Betrayal at House at House on the Hill” and the same is true vice versa. There are a lot more board pieces though and it takes some time to set up and really master the rules and game play. “Arkham Horror” is a game I have not played yet, so I am practicing some new magic tricks while also reading the rules on this particular game when I am not practicing new magic tricks. We will be playing this game Friday, which I am looking forward to. Anyway, I hope everybody had a wonderful Holiday like I did! New Years is coming up here pretty quick!
